A celebratory and empowering documentary look at young Kiwi musicians banding together as they attend Girls Rock Camp Aotearoa, a yearly girl, trans, and non-binary only rock & roll-themed camp where music is the medium to empower our young people.

Created and run by female, trans, and non-binary industry professionals who want to change the power balance in the industry, we follow the mentors, interns, and campers throughout the week witnessing the triumphs & tribulations of taking part.

As we lead up to the final showcase, we get an insight into the profound effect this incredibly groundbreaking and powerful kaupapa can have on our rangatahi.
